Sometimes a Diversion

7/15/14

The artist life is an interesting journey and sometimes the road diverts to a path that doesn't seem artistic such as helping aging parents move into retirement homes.  Time away from the studio however has given me time to reflect on my career, my family life and what may be in store down the road.  All of these things can become endless possibilities for new inspiration, new series of work, new beginnings.  That is why I chose my painting titled "Little Bird, Big Voice" for this blog image as this little bird, small she may be, has a story to tell and let's the world hear it.

Hand painted bar stool sale

7/1/14

For the month of July all of my remaining hand painted bar stools will be on sale for $100 plus tax and shipping.  I have had a wonderful time painting these bar stools but they are taking up a lot of room and I won't be doing any festivals this year so I am offering them at a half off discount.  Check out my zhibit website under OBrien Painted Stools to see what is left or send me a note and I can send you a link.  Thanks for looking!
