Pilchuck Glass Auction

10/12/11

The Peaceable Dog Kingdom
I will have my first painted blown glass vessel in the Pilchuck Glass auction which is this Friday night October 14th at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle.  The beautiful vessel was created by glass artist Rich Langley of Seattle.  The glass enamel painting is a continuation of my Peaceable Dog Kingdom series which is a spoof of the 1800's sign painter, artist Edward Hicks, a favorite of mine.  My kingdom allows dogs only although a couple of my oil paintings have other creatures, how they got in there I just don't know, okay I do.
