Back in Santa Fe

These guys tickle my funny bone...I love to paint action shots especially of the cowboys, horses and circus.  I used to draw horses every day as a young girl and it is fun for me to go back to that image , one that I know so well.  It is like riding a bike only better because it is a horse!  These cartoon like images are mostly gouache on paper making for a more gestural free painting helping with the spontaneous nature of the image.  I might do a landscape now and then but I always come back to the funny.
