Almost May Day! and I'm working on new paintings and my glass commission for the Silver Lake Elementary. I am always inspired when I go to Santa Fe and have decided to create an homage to the Tom Robbins title 'Even Cowgirls Get the Blues' of which this is the very first painting. She is there right now, in my adopted town, waiting to be hanging in the beautiful La Posada de Santa Fe hotel. If your there, stop by and say hello to her!
We returned home the end of March and I decided to paint a few Palouse paintings since I was lucky to have canvas ready. That makes a difference when the mood strikes and I have been meaning to paint more Palouse before I continue with my new "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" series...
